Pink sapphire 0.809 ct
This sapphire is pink and weighs 0.8 carat. The stone is 7.4 millimeters long, 5.1 millimeters wide and 2.6 millimeters deep.
The pink of this stone, with its bluish components, is also known in the trade as “Hot pink” designated. The bluish and violet color components are due to a particularly low Fe content. These sapphires come very close to ruby in color, and a laboratory may certify them as such.
This pink-colored stone has the smallest inclusions as well as one very good color quality .
The transparent sapphire was cut to a faceted teardrop, with a modified brilliant top and three beveled wreaths below. The stone shows no signs of thermal process on.
