Yellow-green Paraiba tourmaline

This Paraiba tourmaline is bright green. Depending on the incidence of light and viewing angle, with yellow color nuances. It has small inclusions. Paraiba tourmalines can be recognized by their bright color. In addition to many (neon) blue stones of this type, there are also turquoise and greenish Paraibas.

The cut of this yellow-green Paraiba tourmaline highlights its color and gives it brilliance. Cut gemstones usually have a base and a crown.

The crown is the “upper” part of the stone, which is also visible after processing into a piece of jewelry. This Paraiba tourmaline is “doubly brilliant”, which means that it has two rows of main facets in addition to the girdle facets and the table facets.

The lower part, the pavilion, of this yellow-green gemstone was cut in the Portuguese cut, which is characterized by many diamond-shaped facets.
